Vacaville police are looking for four suspects who attacked a man then stole his minivan from an apartment complex on Alamo Drive on Thursday afternoon. The 27-year-old victim was unloading stuff from his 1997 Chrysler Town and Country minivan around 4:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of Alamo Drive when one of the four suspects punched him from behind, Officer Mark Donaldson said. Two other suspects joined the attack, but the victim was able to defend himself and he went back to his residence, Donaldson said. When the assault victim realized his car keys had fallen out of his pocket, he returned to the parking lot to find them and saw all four suspects driving away in the minivan, Donaldson said. The suspect who was driving the van is a heavyset man between 40 and 50 years old who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, police said. Two of the other suspects are 17-year-old males with thin builds. Both were wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. The fourth suspect is a man with a thin build and blond hair who was wearing a red T-shirt, Donaldson said. The motive for the assault is unknown and it’s unclear if the victim knew the suspects, Donaldson said. The green minivan has California license plate No. 6CNV113. The passenger side slider window is broken out and is covered with black plastic, Donaldson said.
