A 30-year-old Menlo Park man was wounded in a shooting in East Palo Alto Monday evening, police said. Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Tulane Avenue at about 7:40 p.m. after the Police Department’s ShotSpotter system notified them of gunshots in the area. The officers found evidence of a shooting but were unable to locate any victims. Shortly after 8 p.m., police were notified by a local hospital that a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds had arrived there after being driven by a friend. The victim had apparently been shot in the back, leg and arm, and was listed in serious but stable condition, police said.
