A 24-year-old Antioch man was arrested Monday morning on suspicion of stabbing the mother of his children multiple times, Antioch police said Monday. Police received a call shortly after 7 a.m. reporting a stabbing at 1209 Rockspring Way in Antioch. When officers arrived, they found the victim, a 36-year-old Antioch woman, suffering from multiple stab wounds to her head and upper body, police said. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, but is expected to survive, Lt. Leonard Orman said. Witnesses told investigators that the suspect, Malcolm Williams, had possibly fled on foot toward the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station, police said. Within about two-and-a-half hours, a Contra Costa County Sheriff’s deputy spotted Williams near the BART station and arrested him, Orman said.
