Police in Morgan Hill are trying to identify several suspects in a stabbing that occurred outside a bowling alley early on Thanksgiving morning. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing victim in the emergency room at Saint Louise Regional Hospital at about 2:10 a.m. Thursday. The victim, 22-year-old Gilberto Bailon, of San Benito County, had suffered five stab wounds to his upper torso, police said. Bailon told police he had been drinking at Strixe Lounge, a bar in the Morgan Hill Bowl entertainment center at 650 Tennant Station Way. He left the bar through a door that led to an alley, where he was approached by a group of males in dark clothing, police said. He was then attacked and stabbed in the hip and upper shoulder before he was able to make his way to his friends in the Strixe Lounge parking lot. He was taken to the hospital and later transferred to Regional Medical Center of San Jose where he is recovering in stable condition, police said Monday. No witnesses have come forward and police said the motive remains under investigation.
