Two men were arrested in Santa Rosa Friday on suspicion of stealing a vehicle after the victim’s friend spotted the stolen truck in a grocery store parking lot and tipped off police. The 2002 Toyota Tundra was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Hexem Avenue at about 8:15 a.m. Friday. At about 10:15 a.m., the victim’s friend saw the truck in a Safeway store parking lot in the 2300 block of Mendocino Avenue and notified authorities, according to police. Officers and detectives from the Police Department’s Property Crimes Team monitored the vehicle and witnessed two men enter it, police said. Officers then stopped the vehicle as it was driving through the parking lot and arrested David Joshua Moore, 28, and Travis Paul Adams, 27, both of Santa Rosa. Police said both men were arrested for stealing the vehicle and violating parole.
