* Shots Fired at Two People on Lincoln Street in Fairfield

Fairfield police are searching for a man who fired gunshots at people standing outside a home in the city Sunday morning. At about 8:30 a.m., two people were standing outside in the 1200 block of Lincoln Street when a suspect in a vehicle drove by and fired at least four shots in their direction, according to police. After firing the shots, the suspect was seen driving west toward Pennsylvania Avenue, police said. No one was injured by the gunfire, which struck a vehicle near where the victims were standing, according to police. The suspect is described as a large black man with long hair. He was driving a gray or green early 1990s two-door compact vehicle, police said.
