* Michael Rodriguez, Jesus Barajas,Andrew Nelson Suspected Gang Members Arrested In Fairfield After Traffic Stop

Four known gang members were arrested Thursday evening after a traffic stop for a seat belt violation, police said today.Police found two loaded handguns in the vehicle after the traffic stop at 6:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of Gateway Boulevard, Detective Cleo Mayoral said. Police arrested Michael Rodriguez, Jesus Barajas and Andrew Nelson, all 18, and a 17-year-old, all of Fairfield, for weapons violations, Mayoral said. The juvenile is on probation, Mayoral said.All four were served with the City of Fairfield’s court-ordered gang injunction that restricts the presence and activities of known gang members in downtown Fairfield.The four Norteno gang members who were arrested must immediately comply with the conditions of the injunction, Mayoral said.
