* Marayamah Smith And Troy Moore Arrested In Drug And Weapon Possession In Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa police arrested a convicted felon at an apartment complex this morning for possession of a loaded handgun and methamphetamine for sale.Marayamah Smith, 39, of Santa Rosa was allegedly selling the drug to three Santa Rosa residents in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 2000 block of Pioneer Way in west Santa Rosa when he was arrested around 11 a.m., Sgt. Michael Lazzarini said.Police searched Smith’s apartment and allegedly found additional drugs, ammunition and cash, Lazzarini said.Smith was booked into the Sonoma County jail on the drug and weapon possession charges and for being armed during commission of a felony, probation violations and being a felon in possession of firearms, Lazzarini said.Troy Moore, 25, who is on active parole, was arrested at the scene for parole violations and loitering with intent to engage in narcotics activity, Lazzarini said. He was booked into the Sonoma County jail.Elizabeth Smith, 30, and Nick Ruiz, 33, were cited for loitering with intent to engage in narcotics activity and released from the scene, Lazzarini said.
