* Javier Manzo Identified By Richmond Police As Shooter On Nov 11

Police today released the name of a man who was arrested in connection with a shooting in Richmond on Tuesday afternoon that sent one man to the hospital, Richmond police Sgt. Bisa French said.The shooting was reported at 1:44 p.m. in the 2100 block of Burbeck Avenue.The victim is expected to survive his injuries, French said. Officers found the suspect,42-year-old Richmond resident Javier Manzo, at a home not far from where the shooting happened. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, but as of this afternoon he had not been formally charged by the district attorney’s office, French said.Manzo is being held in county jail in Martinez. His bail has been set at $50,000, a county jail official said.The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
