A man who was critically injured in a double shooting in Richmond Tuesday evening is expected to survive, Richmond police Sgt. Bisa French said today.The other victim, 38-year-old El Sobrante resident Clarence Haynes, died shortly after the shooting.The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. in the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue. As officers were responding, they were told that two shooting victims had arrived at a local hospital.Preliminary reports indicate that the victims were driving in the area of Harbour Way and Roosevelt Avenue when someone shot at their car, police said. They managed to drive to the hospital, where Haynes was pronounced dead at 6:35 p.m.The second victim was listed in critical condition, but has since stabilized.Police today still do not have any information about a possible motive for the shooting, French said.
