Police have arrested suspect in the beating death of a San Mateo man Friday night in San Francisco’s Crocker-Amazon neighborhood.Tony Layva, 35, turned himself in to police Tuesday night, police spokeswoman Sgt. Lyn Tomioka said today.The victim, Alfonso Rodriguez, 39, was found severely beaten behind the wheel of his car at Munich and Cordova streets, police said. He died later at the hospital.Witnesses said two men were involved in the assault, police said.
