Police in Vacaville arrested a 22-year-old man this morning for allegedly burglarizing a vehicle.  Vacaville police Officers Eisert and N. King were patrolling an area near auto dealerships on Orange Drive around 4:15 a.m. today when they noticed a man they apparently recognized. The suspect, Shane Kinney, was riding a bicycle without a light near a Volkswagen dealership, according to police. The officers stopped Kinney for not having a forward-facing light and noticed he was allegedly under the influence of an illegal drug. During a search of the area, King located Kinney’s vehicle parked in the Shellworth Chevrolet parking lot near several vehicles that had been burglarized or tampered with.  Another officer located several vehicles across the street at a rental car company that had been burglarized or tampered with.  Kinney was arrested for being under the influence of an illegal stimulant, vehicle tampering and vehicle burglary, police said. He was transported to Solano County Jail.
