Fairfield police are investigating the robbery of a pizza delivery driver in the city Friday night.  The robbery occurred at about 10 p.m. when the driver was trying to make a delivery at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Grande Circle, according to police.  Two male suspects got out of a vehicle and approached the victim, police said. One of the suspects approached the driver from behind, placed an object against his back and demanded money from him. The driver, fearing that the object was a gun, gave the suspect his cash, and both suspects fled in the vehicle they had gotten out of, according to police. The suspects are described as two black men, one of whom was wearing a black puffy coat while the other wore a silver jacket. The suspect
vehicle is described as a white, 1990s-model Honda Civic hatchback, police said.  There was a delay in the reporting of the incident by the driver, who was uninjured in the robbery, according to police.
