A New York man on a Greyhound bus was arrested Friday afternoon in Santa Rosa after he allegedly threatened to shoot the bus driver and all the passengers. Sheriff’s deputies, Santa Rosa police and the California Highway Patrol responded to northbound U.S. Highway 101 near the Mendocino Avenue on-ramp to a report of a man onboard a Greyhound making threats at the driver and 34 passengers, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.  No one onboard the bus was injured, according to the sheriff’s office, and no weapon was ever seen.  The suspect, 32-year-old David Conklin, had allegedly threatened to shoot everyone onboard and fled before officers arrived.  Conklin ran onto Old Redwood Highway and allegedly tried to force his way into several cars caught in traffic before being detained, according to the sheriff’s office.   He was arrested without further incident and booked into Sonoma County Jail for being under the influence of a controlled substance, according to authorities.
