* Eduardo Cristobal And 3 Juveniles To Be Charged As Adults For San Jose Shooting On Halloween

Four teenagers arrested in connection with the shooting of a 12-year-old boy and the stabbing of his 13-year-old friend while they were trick-or-treating in San Jose on Halloween will appear in court this afternoon. The suspects are Eduardo Cristobal, an 18-year-old Milpitas resident, and three juvenile boys — two 16-year-olds and one 15-year-old.The Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office announced today that it will charge the three juveniles as adults. Their names have not yet been released.All four face two counts of attempted murder and are scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. in Santa Clara County Superior Court. The victims were attacked shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday while they were trick-or-treating in the 2000 block of Story Road, police said. The 12-year-old boy who was shot remains in critical condition, and his friend who was stabbed is recovering. Police said the attacks were gang-related, although the victims are not affiliated with a gang.
