* San Ramon Police Investigating Possible Marijuana Growing Operation on Silva Way

Authorities are investigating a possible marijuana growing operation at a home in San Ramon. On Friday at about 4:40 p.m., police were dispatched to a home in the 2900 block of Silva Way and discovered an apparent indoor hydroponic marijuana growing operation. Police obtained a search warrant and called in the Central Contra Costa County Narcotic Enforcement Team for assistance.  Investigators confiscated 280 live marijuana plants, 63 cut marijuana plants and 40 pounds of processed marijuana buds, according to police. The estimated street value of the seized marijuana is more than $500,000.
