* Man Critically Hurt During Robbery on Galindo Street in Concord

A 49-year-old man was seriously injured Thursday night during a robbery in Concord, police Capt. Jim Lardieri said today. The man had been walking through the neighborhood in the 2200 block of Galindo Street when an unknown number of suspects assaulted and robbed him. A passerby found the victim shortly before 10:30 and called police, Lardieri said.  The man was transported to an area hospital where he underwent surgery. He has since been listed in critical but stable condition, Lardieri
said. The suspect has been described as being 5?3? to 5?7?, thin or slightly built, brown hair with possibly a slight reddish tint, and several days growth of a beard and mustache.
