* Vacaville Police Find a 19 Year Old Shot in the Leg While Sitting in His Car on Alamo Drive

Police found a 19-year-old man outside his home with a gunshot wound in the leg Friday evening. Officers responded to the 5300 block of Alonzo Road at around 6:20 p.m. where a woman told police her stepson had driven home after being shot, according to Vacaville police. Arriving officers found the victim at home still in his car with a single gunshot wound in his leg.  A preliminary investigation revealed the shooting had occurred inside the victim’s vehicle, near the 1100 block of Alamo Drive.  Police did not release any suspect information, but said an investigation into the shooter’s identity was underway.  The victim was taken to Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Vacaville, according to police.
