* Salinas Teens Ociel Montiel and Rodolfo Cristobal Die in Gang Related Shooting

A second teenage victim has died after a gang-related shooting Wednesday evening in Salinas, police said.  Ociel Montiel, 14, of Salinas died Friday afternoon at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, police said. Montiel was critically injured Wednesday at about 5:35 p.m. in a shooting in the 700 block of Archer Street. Another victim, 15-year-old Rodolfo Cristobal of Salinas, died shortly after the incident.  Two other teenage victims were airlifted to a regional hospital and remain in critical or serious condition, according to police.  Investigators have determined that the four victims knew each other before the shooting. Police are investigating the case as gang-related.
