* Man Robs Walnut Creek Walgreens on North Main Street of Prescription Meds

Walnut Creek police are investigating the whereabouts of a man who robbed a Walgreens pharmacy of prescription medications Friday afternoon. The suspect went into the Walgreens at 2900 N. Main St. at about 3:40 p.m., told a pharmacist he had a gun and took an undisclosed amount of medications, police said. The man then went to a nearby vehicle and was last seen traveling south on Interstate Highway 680. No weapon was seen and no one was injured in the robbery.
