* Elisa Davis, A 19-Year-Old Hayward Woman Identified As Murder Suicide Victim Killed By Eric Conrad Hicks Jr

A woman who was killed by a man in an apparent murder-suicide has been identified as California State University, East Bay student Elisa Davis, a 19-year-old Hayward woman, Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason said today.Officers responded to the 8300 block of International Boulevard about 6:30 a.m. Thursday after the Oakland Police Department’s ShotSpotter system detected gunfire there.They found Davis shot to death inside a parked car and 23-year-old Eric Conrad Hicks Jr., a 23-year-old Oakland man who also attended Cal State East Bay, dead of a gunshot wound. Investigators believe Hicks shot Davis and then turned the gun on himself.Thomason said he doesn’t have information on the relationship between Hicks and Davis.Cal State East Bay spokeswoman Monique Beeler said Hicks and Davis lived on campus in the Pioneer Heights student-housing complex. Both were enrolled at the school but Hicks had moved off campus, Beeler said.
