A seventh suspect was arrested in Reno, Nev., today in connection with the torture and murder of a Vallejo man whose body was found in a field near Dixon last year, according to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office.Reno police, acting on what they believed to be a credible tip, arrested Anthony Richard, a 33-year-old Richmond resident, at a Motel 6 at about 6 a.m., Solano County sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Gary Faulkner said.Richard is being held without bail in Reno on charges of murder and torture. Detectives from the Solano County Sheriff’s Office were on their way to Reno today to interview Richard and begin the extradition process to return him to California, Faulkner said.Five other men have also been arrested on charges of murder and torture. They include Fairfield resident Brian Duvauchelle, 36, and Vallejo residents David Fraire, 36; Orlando Madueno, 21; Patrocino Hernandez, 20; and Aronulfo Hernandez, 33, according to Faulkner.Sandra Smith,a 41-year-old Vallejo resident, has been arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to murder.All seven suspects were indicted by a Solano County grand jury in August.A man on horseback found the body of 50-year-old Ricky Vincent Meyi in a field near state Highway 113 between Dixon and Rio Vista on Jan. 13, 2008. He was last seen in Vallejo on Jan. 2. Faulkner said he could not disclose how Meyi was killed because he wanted to maintain the integrity of the investigation.
