* Oakland Police Need Help to Identify Person of Interest in Homicide

The Oakland Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person in these photos.  Detective Fleming reports that on  August  21,  2009,  at  8:40  PM, Oakland  Police  responded  to  a  reported shooting  in  the  1700  block  of  47th  Avenue.  Responding  officers  found  a  fourteen  year  old Hispanic male suffering  from gunshot wounds.  The victim was  taken  to a  local hospital and was pronounced dead. Oakland Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow up investigation into the circumstances regarding the shooting. During the investigation the following person of interest information was determined:  The  person  is  described  as  a male,  Hispanic  18-25  years-old,  5’-5”  to  5’-6”,  165  lbs.  The investigators were  able  to  obtain  these  photos  of  the  person  of  interest  and  need  the public’s help in identifying him.
