A Forestville woman charged with DUI and vehicular manslaughter for a head-on crash that killed a Rohnert Park woman and injured her teenage daughter earlier this month is scheduled to enter pleas Monday in Sonoma County Superior Court.Judy Shafer, 55, was charged Tuesday in court with DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol level 0.08 percent or greater and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated in connection with the 5:20 p.m. fatal crash on Llano Road north of Ludwig Road east of Sebastopol on Sept. 14.She also is charged with enhancements alleging the crash caused great bodily injury or death, driving with an enhanced blood-alcohol level and causing multiple injuries or deaths.Shafer was arraigned on the charges Tuesday but delayed entering a plea. Shafer is being held in the Sonoma County jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. A bail reduction hearing also is scheduled for Monday morning.The California Highway Patrol said Shafer’s 2002 Jeep Liberty was traveling north on Llano Road when it crossed the double yellow lines and struck a 1998 Honda Civic head-on. The Honda driver, Kathleen L. O’Daniel, 54, died at the scene. Her 15-year-old daughter Kelcee O’Daniel of Rohnert Park, suffered broken bones and internal injuries and was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, the CHP said. Shafer suffered broken bones and also went to Memorial Hospital, the CHP said.
