Sullenger will have a preliminary hearing date set Monday.Deputy District Attorney Tania Partida said Sullenger is also charged with an enhancement alleging the sexual assault occurred during a burglary, subjecting him to a 25-years-to-life prison term.In addition, he also is charged with enhancements alleging the sexual assault victim was over age 65 and that he has a 1994 sexual assault conviction in Houston. Sullenger was arrested Sept. 17 by the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety after the state Department of Justice said DNA taken from the sexual assault incident matched Sullenger, a registered sex offender. Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa police also said a fingerprint taken from the backyard of the victim’s property in June matched Sullenger’s fingerprint. In that incident, the elderly woman was awakened by barking dogs and saw a man climbing over her backyard fence to leave her property, police said. The woman said several items in her backyard were moved out of place and police recovered a fingerprint. In the November incident, Sullenger fled out a bedroom window after the assault but DNA was recovered, police said.
