* Man Found Fatally Shot on Sidewalk in Richmond

A man was found fatally shot in Richmond Friday night, according to police Lt. Johan Simon. The shooting occurred at about 8 p.m. and arriving officers found a man in his 20s lying on the sidewalk in front of 4517 Cypress Ave, Simon said. The victim had been shot at least once in the upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Simon. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and no suspect information was immediately available.
