ARREST made CLICK HERE * Yousuf Aziz Arrested In Connection To Deer Valley High School Gang Shooting

Police this afternoon are searching for a gold or tan car in connection with the shooting of a Deer Valley High School student near the campus in Antioch today.Officers responded to Sagebrush Drive near Prewitt Ranch Road at about 8:30 a.m. and found the victim shot multiple times. He was transported to a hospital by helicopter. His condition was not available this afternoon.School officials said the teen was shot as he walked to school. Police Lt. Leonard Orman said the shooting followed an exchange of words between several people in a car and a group that included the victim. The shots were fired from inside the car, he said.The car is described as a gold or tan Lexus, Chevrolet Impala or Saturn, and is believed to be an early 2000 model. The four-door car has tinted windows and oversize rims and tires. Police said the vehicle was traveling through the rear of the school prior to the incident, and were able to obtain a photo from a video recording at the school. Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Diane Aguinaga at (925) 779-6928.The schools remained on lockdown until about 10:20 a.m., according to the school district.
