* Diana Harden Shot Her Handicapped Daughter, Yvette Harden At The Oakland Springs Health Care Center

A 64-year-old woman and her 43-year-old daughter died Sunday night in an apparent murder-suicide at an Oakland convalescent home, police Officer Jeff Thomason said today.Shortly before 10:20 p.m., Diana Marie Harden shot her handicapped daughter, Yvette Harden, who was a patient at the Oakland Springs Health Care Center, located at 1833 10th Ave. She then killed herself, Thomason said.Oakland police arrived to find Yvette Harden dead from gunshot wounds to the head and chest, and Diana Marie Harden dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Thomason said. Police are investigating the motive, he said.
