Officers in Sonoma County made several arrests Friday evening during a prostitution sting conducted near Santa Rosa, according to the sheriff’s office. Sheriff’s deputies from a community policing unit and agents from the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control conducted the undercover operation in and around the area of Santa Rosa Avenue at about 6 p.m., according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department. Six suspects arrested for alleged prostitution were: Sonya Arevalo, 23, of South San Francisco; Jennifer Whitehill, 30, of North Highlands; Jacqueline Meullerleile, 23, of Newport Beach; Starla Moody, 36, of Santa Rosa; and Destini High, 29, of Santa Rosa. Sacramento resident Joseph Robinson, 21, was arrested for allegedly violating probation and resisting arrest, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies were seeking an additional complaint against Robinson for pimping. The suspects were booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
