* Man Shot Walking Out of His Home in the 500 block of 27th Street Richmond

A Richmond man is in critical condition this morning after he was shot outside his home Wednesday night.  The 35-year-old man was walking out of his home in the 500 block of 27th Street at around 9:20 p.m. when he was shot several times, Richmond police Lt. Mike Gormley said. The injured man was able to drive himself to the home of a friend, Gormley said, who then took the victim to a hospital. The victim, who remains in critical but stable condition, told police he believes the gunshots were fired from a dark vehicle parked outside is home.
