Richmond police arrested a 15-year-old boy today for allegedly firing multiple shots at an Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District bus in Richmond’s Iron Triangle neighborhood Friday night, Sgt. Bisa French said.The boy, a Richmond resident, allegedly admitted to shooting at the bus, French said. His name is not being released because he’s a minor.The shooting happened at about 9:10 p.m. as the bus was traveling north on Sixth Street near Nevin Avenue, Lt. Johan Simon said. “Witnesses reported that 11 to 14 shots were fired and the bus was hit several times,” Simon said.Two men and a woman who were on the bus were injured by the gunfire, Simon said.After the shooting, the driver continue driving for a couple blocks and brought the bus to the Kaiser Permanente Richmond Medical Center. All three victims are expected to survive their injuries, French said today, and at least two have already been released from the hospital.
