* Santa Rosa Worker Hit With a Bat During a Robbery of the Wine County Formal Wear at 600 Mendocino Ave

Police are searching for suspects who hit an employee in the face with a bat while robbing a store in Santa Rosa on Saturday afternoon. At about 3 p.m., officers were dispatched to Wine County Formal Wear, at 600 Mendocino Ave. The victim said he had been robbed by two men who stole money from the cash register and personal property from him.  One suspect hit the victim on the face with a small metal bat, police said. The victim was treated at the store.  The victim described the first suspect as a man between 20 to 25 years old who is about 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He was wearing a purple Lakers tank top-style jersey.  The second suspect appeared to be in his 20s. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, according to police. He was wearing a blue jean jacket and dirty khaki pants.
