* Oakland Police Arrest Three Suspects That Strike Police Motorcycle While Fleeing From Robbery

Oakland police this morning arrested three men and two women who allegedly were involved in a robbery and shortly afterward were in a vehicle that crashed into the motorcycle of an Oakland police officer who had made a traffic stop nearby.  The incident was reported at about 12:55 a.m. in the 700 block of Broadway, according to police.  A police officer had pulled over a vehicle on a traffic stop when the motorcycle was struck by the suspect vehicle, police said. The officer was not injured in the incident.  A victim who was nearby told authorities that he had just been robbed and identified the vehicle’s occupants as the suspects, according to
police.
