* Oakland Police Investigate Friday Night Shooting Near Brush and 12th Streets

Police are investigating a shooting that left one person wounded in Oakland late Friday night.  At around 11:50 p.m., officers responded to a shooting reported near Brush and 12th streets, according to the Oakland Police Department. One victim was found injured by gunfire, police said. The injury was not expected to be life threatening.  No arrests were reported, and information on possible suspects was not immediately available.
