Rohnert Park police and the Marin County Major Crimes Task Force arrested five adults and two juveniles on drug possession and trafficking charges Tuesday following raids at two homes in Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa.Two children, ages 2 and 3, were removed from one of the homes and placed in protective custody after drugs were found in low areas accessible to the children, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.In addition to the drug charges, the children’s parents were arrested for child endangerment.Narcotics detectives seized more than a pound of methamphetamine, more than three pounds of processed marijuana, and cash from two homes on Candace Avenue in Rohnert Park and on Mission Boulevard in Santa Rosa. Police arrested Maximo Granados Beltran, 22; Benito Ramirez, 26; Abel Torres-Abarca, 31; Maria Solorio-Leon, 30; and Jesus Tafolla-Solorio, 22, for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana for sale. They were booked into the Sonoma County jail.Two 17-year-old suspects were booked into juvenile hall.Christino Vargas Mondragon, 22, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale and transporting the drug as he drove away from one of the homes. Police said they found methamphetamine in a hidden compartment of his car.Officers also found another vehicle with a hidden compartment used to transport drugs at Mondragon’s home and seized both cars, Rohnert Park police said.
