Police arrested a Fairfield man early Saturday morning after he allegedly stabbed a 33-year-old man and injured a 27-year-old woman at a lounge in Santa Rosa. At 1:40 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the Stir lounge at 404 Mendocino Ave. regarding a stabbing, a Santa Rosa police dispatcher said today. Officers found Healdsburg resident Robert Allen Baker bleeding from his abdomen and Santa Rosa resident Selena Irene Foster bleeding from her face in front of the business, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department. Both victims were transported to nearby hospitals. The suspect ran away and was pursued by friends of the victims and other bar patrons. Officers eventually caught the suspect, 25-year-old Christopher Louis Gordon, police said. Gordon was arrested and booked at the Sonoma County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon, battery with serious bodily injury and
possession of a concealed weapon. Baker was admitted to a local hospital and Foster was treated for facial lacerations and released. Santa Rosa’s Violent Crimes Team detectives are continuing the investigation. Anyone with additional information about the case is asked to call Detective Peirsol at (707) 543-3590.
