San Jose police are investigating a shooting that left a man wounded early this morning, a spokesman said.Units responded to reports of shots fired near William and 11th streets at around 3:15 a.m., San Jose police Officer Jermaine Thomas said.Arriving officers found one shooting victim, a 19-year-old man, Thomas said. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound that was not expected to be life threatening.Officers this morning had not yet determined if the shooting occurred inside a home in the area, Thomas said. The incident remains under investigation.
