Fairfield police arrested six people, issued six citations and towed 11 vehicles during a DUI checkpoint that finished early Saturday
morning in the city. The checkpoint was held on the 2000 block of North Texas Street, according to police. Police said three people were arrested for driving under the influence, two for outstanding warrants and one for public intoxication. The checkpoint was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
