* Alleged Norteno Gang Member Manuel Vasquez Arrested at his home on at 10771 Blevins Way in Castroville

A 21-year-old Norteno gang member was arrested at his job Saturday night after deputies discovered he wasn’t in compliance with the terms of his probation, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. The probation search was conducted Saturday at about 8:10 p.m. at Manuel Vasquez’ Manuel Vasquez, an unincorporated city in Monterey County. During the search, deputies allegedly found an unregistered revolver and ammunition and some gang paraphernalia. Vasquez, who works as a courtesy clerk, has to register as a gang member on a regular basis, according to the sheriff’s office.
