* San Jose Police Are Asking For Public’s Help For Information On The Stabbing Death Of Tommy Williams On Aug 12th

San Jose police are looking for anyone who might have seen Tommy Williams downtown or in the San Jose State University area in the hours before he was found stabbed to death in a motel room last week.Police found Williams’ body on a bed in a room at the Santa Clara Inn in San Jose at 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 12. He had been stabbed once, according to police spokesman Officer Jose Garcia.Police are still investigating who may have stabbed Williams, whom Garcia said was a 46-year-old San Jose resident and registered sex offender. Investigators would like to hear from anyone who may have seen Williams in the 24-hour period before his death, Garcia said. “We understand he frequents the downtown or San Jose State area.”Police do not know what the man was doing at the hotel, located at 2188 The Alameda, Garcia said.
