* Antioch Police Suspect Shondel Johnson Arrested For Burglary At The Rite Aid store at 4100 Lone Tree Way

A man was arrested outside a Rite Aid store in Antioch Tuesday night after he allegedly tried to steal cash and computer parts, police said.Officers responded to an alarm at a Rite Aid store at 4100 Lone Tree Way at about 9:45 p.m. A man police later identified as Shondel Johnson, 29, was seen running out a side door of the closed business carrying a computer tower and a backpack.Johnson allegedly tried unsuccessfully to get into a car that was waiting outside but was apprehended after a brief foot chase. His backpack was found to contain cash and checks taken from the Rite Aid, police said.Johnson and the driver of the waiting car, 20-year-old Kellina Brown, were taken into custody and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.
