Vacaville police arrested a suspect Wednesday in the sexual assault of a woman in her home last month.Servando Inez Ramirez, 29, of Vacaville, was arrested at a residence in the 700 block of La Cruz Lane around 5:10 p.m., Lt. Craig Courtemanche said.Police said DNA evidence identified Ramirez as the suspect.He was booked into the Solano County jail for rape, penetration with a foreign object, criminal threats and false imprisonment. Police said he is suspected of entering a south Vacaville residence through an unlocked sliding glass door on July 19.The female resident said she awoke in the morning and found the patio door partially ajar and was confronted and sexually assaulted by a man in the hallway, police said.After the assault, the suspect told the woman he was going to the kitchen to get a knife, police said. The woman fled through the front door and the suspect ran out the back door, police said.Police searched several locations in Vacaville before locating Ramirez at the La Cruz Lane residence, Courtemanche said.
