Vacaville police arrested three men and a juvenile after a vehicle pursuit Thursday on suspicion of stealing items from stores in the Nut Tree Factory Store Outlets. Police went to the shopping center at 321 Nut Tree Road at 12:30 p.m. Thursday after receiving a report about people stealing shoes from the Nike Outlet, Sgt. Denise Quatman said. The suspects left before police arrived but employees gave a description of them and their vehicle, she said. Police determined the vehicle was stolen from Vallejo and a Fairfield police officer spotted it on westbound Interstate Highway 80 a short time later, Quatman said. The California Highway Patrol pursued the vehicle into Vallejo where the driver lost control of the car and hit a stop sign, Quatman said. The suspects ran into the surrounding neighborhood and were arrested by Vallejo police at Parrott and Sacramento streets around 2 p.m.. One of the suspects suffered a minor leg injury and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Another suspect remains at large, Quatman said. Police arrested Rodney Leaks, 20, Darius Leaks, 18, both of Sacramento, Brandon Singleton, 20, of Vallejo and a 17-year-old Vallejo boy on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy, possession of stolen property, evading police and resisting arrest, Quatman said. Police recovered property allegedly stolen from the Nike, Factory Brand Shoes, Zumiez and Vans stores.
