* San Jose Police Seeking Kim Ngoc Tran for the Alleged Murder of Nam Hoang Mai

On Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 12:35 AM, San Jose Police Officers were dispatched to a weapons call at the 300 block of N. Capitol Avenue.  Officers arrived and discovered there had been a physical fight; however, all involved persons had fled the scene prior to police arrival. A short time later, two victims showed up at a local hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds.  One of the two victims identified as 20-year-old Nam Hoang Mai  later succumbed to his injuries. The second victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. A third victim went to a separate local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening gunshot injuries. Two suspects have been arrested for murder in connection with this homicide:  Quang Duc Phan of San Jose and Dung Vu Tran of San Francisco. A third suspect, Kim Ngoc Tran, is also wanted for murder in this case.  Kim Tran is a resident of Emeryville, California, with ties to San Jose.  Kim Tran remains at large and is believed to be in the Bay Area.

  • please check the video tape agian, one of the victim that went to the hospital for treated was the guy sitting together at the table.his name is DU NGUYEN and he is as gang member AW. he was shot in the arm
