* Alameda County Sheriff’s Detectives Seek Felipe Carbajal Leon for Alleged Murder of Reyes Sanchez Carbajal

The Alameda County Sheriff’s Department is currently seeking Nicasio Carbajal Leon and Felipe Carbajal Leon on warrants charging them with murder. Detective Scott Dudek reports that on Sunday November 9, 2003, Alameda County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call regarding suspicious circumstances at Simms Park, 7001 Niles Canyon Road in Sunol. Upon arrival they found the body of 32 year old Reyes Sanchez Carbajal along the creek area of Simms Park. On May 15, 2006, the Cold Case Unit obtained two “No Bail” warrants for the murder of Reyes Carbajal. Detective Dudek learned the Leon brothers allegedly killed their cousin, Reyes Carbaja, after a family dispute.
