A 49-year-old Morgan Hill man was stabbed in the neck in his living room late Wednesday night, according to police. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 16975 Monterey Road at 10:25 p.m., according to the Morgan Hill Police Department. The victim, Ernest Andrews, had been stabbed in the neck and head during an argument in his home. Police reported that Charles Rolen was visiting Andrews when a
fight broke out between the two men, which escalated to an assault when Rolen allegedly pulled out a knife and began stabbing Andrews. The victim was taken to San Jose Regional Hospital and was reported to be in stable condition. Rolen left the home and reportedly handed over evidence to Michael Rolen, 26, of Morgan Hill. Police recovered the unspecified evidence near Spring Avenue, and both men were eventually located and arrested for attempted murder.
