Oakland police officers responding to a report of a home invasion robbery early this morning uncovered an indoor marijuana-growing operation and seized 350 pot plants, police spokesman Officer Jeff Thomason said. Officers responded to a report of the robbery in the 2100 block of West Street at 4:10 a.m. As they arrived they saw a car leaving the area, Thomason said. They pulled it over and detained two men inside. The alleged victim of the robbery fled. When officers entered the home they found about 350 marijuana plants “in different stages of growth,” Thomason said. Police today were questioning the two men detained and trying to locate the alleged robbery victim and two other men seen running from the area, Thomason said.
