Salinas police are looking for three men who apparently slashed at a woman with a knife after she had gotten into a vehicle with them late
Saturday night. The 20-year-old woman met three men in the area of Roosevelt and Kings streets on Saturday night and agreed to get into their vehicle, according to police. As they were driving, the victim heard the men whispering amongst themselves and became nervous. She exited the vehicle in the parking lot of a Motel 6 on Kern Street and was confronted by one of the men, who slashed at her with a knife, police said.  Officers responded at about 11:20 p.m. to a report of a stabbing in the parking lot and found the victim. She was taken to a hospital with
several lacerations that are not believed to be life-threatening, according to police.  Witnesses reported seeing a black truck with red stripes fleeing the area, police said.
