* Jack Quon of Redwood City Identified as Dead Man Found in Bushes in San Mateo

A man whose body was found in some bushes near a San Mateo shopping center Sunday morning has been identified as 41-year-old Jack Quon of Redwood City, a police captain said today.  A citizen called 911 at around 8 a.m. to report seeing a man’s body in the bushes in the first block of Bovet Road near the Borel Square Shopping Center, San Mateo police Capt. Kevin Raffaelli said.   Officers responded and found Quon in the bushes. He was pronounced dead at the scene.  Authorities said Quon died sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. Sunday, Raffaelli said. Police said the death is not believed to be the result of a random act of violence.  Raffaelli said the death is being considered suspicious.
