The California Highway Patrol arrested the drivers of two cars that crashed head-on Saturday night on suspicion of driving under the influence. Evelia Moreno, 63, of St. Helena was driving a 2007 Toyota Rav4 north on state Highway 29, north of Oak Knoll Avenue near Napa, when the crash happened around 11:40 p.m., CHP Officer Jaret Paulson said.  Moreno crossed into the southbound lane and struck a 2009 Honda Accord driven by Alex Alejandre, 25, a resident of Michoacan, Mexico, Paulson
said. Both drivers were wearing seat belts but were trapped in their cars and had to be extricated, Paulson said. Each suffered major injuries and was taken to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa. Moreno was taken to the hospital by helicopter and Alejandre was taken by ground ambulance, Paulson said.
